Overview
BulkErase AI ("the App", "we", "our") is a background removal application built to work entirely offline, on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App interacts with, how it is handled, and your choices regarding that information. By using BulkErase AI, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be explicit about what never leaves your device:
- Photos and images you select or capture for background removal are processed locally on your device's hardware. They are never uploaded to any cloud service or server operated by us.
- Edit history and batch results (thumbnails, timestamps, file references) are saved only in local device storage using on-device storage mechanisms, so we have no ability to view, access, or retrieve them.
- We do not require account creation, sign-in, or any personal profile to use the App.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your images or history with any third party, because we never receive them in the first place.
Information Collected Automatically
Because BulkErase AI includes advertising to support free use of the App, some limited, non-personal technical information is processed by our advertising partner (Google AdMob) when ads are shown. This is described in detail below.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
BulkErase AI uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. To serve and measure ads, AdMob and Google may collect and process:
- Advertising identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID / GAID)
- General device information (device model, OS version, language, screen size)
- Approximate location derived from IP address
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, ad performance)
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and the AdMob data collection disclosure. We do not have access to your photos or file history through this process — advertising data is entirely separate from, and unrelated to, your images.
You can opt out of personalized/interest-based advertising at any time via your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
Permissions Used by the App

Local Data Storage
The App stores the following data locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage (such as app-private storage and local preferences):
- Your edit history (thumbnails/references to processed images and timestamps)
- App settings and preferences (e.g., theme, default export options)
This data is never transmitted off your device. It is fully under your control: clearing the App's history within the App, clearing app storage from your device settings, or uninstalling the App will permanently delete this data. We have no backend and no way to recover it, because we never had it.
Data Security
Since your images and history never leave your device, the primary security boundary is your device itself. We recommend keeping your device's operating system updated and using device-level security (PIN, biometric lock) to protect any locally stored content.
Children's Privacy
BulkErase AI is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising served in the App is not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us with information in a manner not consistent with this policy, please contact us so we can address it.
Your Rights and Choices
Because we do not collect, store, or process your personal photos or history on any server, there is no personal data held by us for you to request, correct, or delete. For rights relating to advertising data processed by Google (such as access, deletion, or opting out under GDPR/CCPA), please refer to Google's Privacy Policy or use the device-level ad settings described above.
Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party sites (for example, via ads or a "rate us" / "share" feature). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
